We tend to see the world from a negative point of view, no matter if our current situation is good or bad.

The Blue Dot Effect is a psychological phenomenon where our minds are conditioned to look for threats or issues, regardless of how safe or comfortable our environment is.

When we’re in a situation where we’re constantly exposed to potential threats or problems, our brains adapt by expanding our definition of what we consider a threat. This means that even in situations where there are no actual threats, we’ll start to perceive them as such.

For example, if we’re in a relationship and our partner is being kind and supportive, we might start to notice small issues or imperfections that we wouldn’t have noticed before. This can lead to a sense of dissatisfaction and unhappiness, even though our partner is actually treating us well.

The Blue Dot Effect can be seen in many areas of life, from our personal relationships to our work and social interactions. It’s a natural response to our environment, but it can also lead to unnecessary stress and anxiety if we’re not aware of it.
